Time to Care is a coalition of community organizations and advocates committed to securing competitive wages for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Texas who are caregivers for Texans with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD).
Texans with IDD need and deserve quality care, and without emergency funding from the Texas Legislature, the current workforce crisis for DSPs will result in vulnerable Texans being left behind. These organizations are passionate about helping Texans with IDD and continue to dedicate their efforts and resources to strengthening the support network for the IDD community in the Lone Star State.
Urge lawmakers to protect and empower Direct Support Professionals that provide crucial care to our state’s most vulnerable!
